Good news for another one of our favorite HBCUs this morning!
North Carolina Central University (NCCU) was just recently announced as a finalist for the 2012 President's Award for Public Service. The award, recognized by the Corporation for National and Public Service, is designed to acknowledge colleges and universities who have stepped forward and contributed tremendously to community service and need.
More than 600 schools were considered for the Presidential Award honor. Congratulations and much kudos to NCCU for stepping in tradition, in truth and service!
